Restaurant Review: Momo

When Momo openned in Robinson's Manila, we wanted to check it out asap especially since it's by Sau del Rosario of M Cafe and Chelsea Market and cafe (or more popularly, from the Selecta commercial) but it's always packed for lunch that it's only now that we got to try out their food.

3 cheese pizza, 275php
Okay, what do you really expect from a cheese pizza? Err, cheesiness? Well, it was cheesy alright but I don't think it lived up to S and I's expectations of great pizza

Meatballs and cheese pasta, 149php
Yummy! This is actually one of their bestsellers. It's simple but really delicious!

Spicy Pao Paw Spaghetti, 149php
OHMYGOSH! They were not kidding when they said spicy! We couldn't stop drinking water! It was too much, even for me who is a big fan of spicy food. Wow, I think they should remake this dish. S and I have had spicy spaghetti before and we tell you, we don't think it's supposed to be THAT spicy.

Cafe Mocha 18oz., 99php
It isn't Starbucks. What do you expect?

Thai Chai 16oz., 99php
This came as the biggest disappointment! You know how we love Thai Tea but this one wasn't even near it! It tasted like Sago't Gulaman-- it even has Sago bits at the bottom. What?

Our experience at MoMo! wasn't spectacular. But I do give MoMo! a thumbs up for having a great location and offering cheap meals! It's fun co'z no one would suspect you're eating on a budget when you're sitting inside such a posh restaurant. Hehe :) And you know what else is good about it? They offer free wifi! You can just sit there, order their Oatmeal bar at 55php (I hear it's really good!) and surf all day! hihi :P

Overall I think MoMo! deserves a second chance. Will update you guys the next time we go there :)
