Why you should learn to drive at 17

S and I took driving lessons on the same summer vacation. I say it was one of the best decisions we ever made because after that, we couldn't stop "planning" all our mischievous plans. Hehe :)

It's summer time once again and I know that one of the things most would do is look for something to preoccupy you for the break. Well, here's our tip: Learn how to drive! More than that, learn how to drive while you're still 17! Let us tell you why:

1. Getting a student driver's permit wouldn't look awkward since you do LOOK young. I mean, getting a student's permit at twenty doesn't look right. Hehe :)

2. You can brag your student's permit to all your friends knowing most people get theirs at Eighteen! hehe :)

3. You have one year to practice driving! So you'd already be a pro once you get your official driver's permit. I mean, hey, it looks better to be committing mistakes on the road while having a student's permit rather than having mistakes with a regular one (hehe, what a justification!)

4. You wouldn't go to jail for your road offenses-- yet! haha

5. You can dream of getting a car (and actually be able to drive it) for your Eighteenth birthday!

6. The younger you are, the easier you learn!

7. Same thing with wanting to drive, you can also opt NOT to take on driving duties for your family since you're still barely legal.

8. You'll be cooler than most kids your age. What skateboard? What scooter? Girl, you're driving a car! :)

9. You can get away with having a "chaperone" for all your trips. You can just say that you can't drive yet without supervision from a licensed adult (hehe, excuses)

10. You can daydream for one year about your perfect car!

11. You have all the time in the world to learn and practice driving-- which you'll be missing once you dive headfirst into school work for the following years.

12. You'll be able to get used to driving, earlier. Unlike when you're older, somehow you're expected to be able to deal with it already (it's like you can't commit mistakes or admit being tired anymore!)

So what are you waiting for? Go now and enroll in a reputable driving school! Hey, you won't get any younger nor will you be seventeen forever (hehe). NOW'S the time PK girl! ;)
