Barbie pink

I've never been a fan of pink make up. I used to think pink didn't look good on my complexion but apparently, I just haven't found that right shade of pink-- until my god mother gave me a tube of WetnWild lipstick in 511B:

To be truly honest, if I saw this in the store, I wouldn't even think of trying it on. It's too pink! And not just pink, but barbie-kind-of-pink which I never imagined myself donning.

The color is not too bad on my wrist, in fact, it's just the right shade. I like also that it glides on smoothly and moisturizes the lips. Often, I have trouble looking for the right lipstick because my lips chap easily and I get allergic to brands that are too "commercial", hence, my preference for Korean and specialized labels (i.e. those from Beauty Bar). So you could only imagine my glee to find how nice WetnWild is! I often thought of the brand as just another of those "drugstore" make up that balikbayans often give away as pasalubong but now, I changed my mind. It's so AWESOME I cannot get enough of it!

Pink has a way of making you look younger! Like my friend said, lakas makabata!

I have now found new fondness for pink! I am excited to check out more make up in the pink palette. Oh yes, more barbie lipstick please! :)
