I've been wanting to get myself an Ice Watch since it was brought to the Philippines a year or two ago (not so sure when) but the only shops carrying the brand were too far from my place, and yada yada yada. To make the story short,
my laziness won :P
Even though I never felt the great urge to go out and buy an ice watch, it doesn't mean I don't want to own one anymore. I still do! So you could only imagine how ecstatic I was when I saw that they sold the watches at Dutyfree! Woot, woot!

I like the Silis more because they're made of soft rubber. Some versions/lines are in plastic which makes them feel more like a toy rather than a watch. Besides, Ice Watch was made famous by their soft rubber so if you want a more "authentic" feel, I suggest you get the ones in rubber (it's just a bit more expensive than the plastic versions).

these are so nice. i would love to get me an ice watch also but you know, pretty expensive. :-) something always sidetracks me from buying them.
ReplyDeleteit is on the expensive side, but it is worth it! besides, i think with watches like these, it transcends time and trends that you'd wear it until you're old. the hefty price tag then won't matter so much anymore :)
