To Write Love on her arms

It was because of Paramore that I found out about To write love on her arms. It was a campaign they supported and because I was a die hard fan then, it was automatic for me to be enthralled by it too.

To Write Love on her arms is a movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide.

It might seem like a really abstract campaign but I think it appeals to everyone because at one point of our lives, we have experienced pain and being depressed and it's wonderful to know that there are people out there whose mission is to give hope.

The vision is the possibility that your best days are ahead.

The vision is the possibility that we're more loved than we'll ever know.

The vision is hope, and hope is real.

You are not alone, and this is not the end of your story.

I almost forgot about this campaign but by some intervention, I found myself back in their website and getting teary-eyed reading about their story and how much  the movement has grown since then. I am grateful that there are actually people out there whose mission in life is to spread positivity. It makes me believe that this world is not so bad after all.

...and that in truth, you're never really alone in your sorrows.

The movement has a following in the States. It helps that they packaged the campaign in a way that appeals to the youth. Their merchandise are the best examples of which. See, there really are ways to make socio-responsive campaigns appeal to the "cool crowd".
We urge you to support the campaign. We also urge you to try replicating what they're doing and become positive lights of hope for other people as well.

May we never lose hope and may we also strive to be that little spark of hope for someone--anyone who may be needing exactly that right now.

This is my current favorite song. It just pierces through the heart! It's so great how a lot of musicians are supporting the campaign. I love you Satellite! You're my current favorite band obsession!

...cause the only truth I've ever known
is that nothing ever hurts us more than love
so circle up your best of friends
and we'll celebrate the way it ends
At least we live tonight.
